While fairly equal, there were slightly more females than males. Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas lead the cities, but over 250 different US and foreign cities were logged with good participation from the Texas Valley, Phoenix, AZ, California, Washington State, Idaho, New Mexico, Chicagoland area, and Michigan. Genre Background:

Tejano music had evolved from the musical styles of Mexican, German, and American farm workers in the deep Texas Valley many years ago. It mostly is sung in Spanish, but it may switch to English or ‘Spanglish’ during the song. Over the years it has evolved from Deep Valley Conjunto to Orchestra, up tempo Ranchera, Cumbia, with an occasional flavor or influence of jazz, R&B, and Rock. It is truly a unique American music art form.

Technical:

Unlike most internet only radio stations, BNetRadio broadcasts from a storefront building on a main Houston street in a studio that has commercial radio station equipment and software like that found in major broadcast facilities. There is a webcam in the studio and webpage software that allows listeners to optionally turn on their webcams and chat interactively with the DJ. The studio is with extra microphones and a professional telephone interface for interviews and talk segments. For remote broadcast we employ field and studio pots digital codecs that provide full broadcast quality audio from anywhere in the world that has good telephone service.
